Small Women’s leather drawstring handbag. Made with brown Badalassi Carlo Italian leather and Sierra deertan leather.
The brown Badalassi Carlo veg tan leather is top grade leather. It is full grain and has a nice supple feel with a small amount of firmness. It is a vacchetta leather that is infused with a special blend of Italian fat wax giving it the famous hand and feel attribute. This leather has a beautiful smooth grain with a beautiful depth to the leather color. The veg tan will have an amazing patina as it ages.
The sides are made with very soft saddle tan Sierra Deertan Cowhide leather. Sierra Deertan cowhide has the soft, supple feel of fine garment deerskin as well as the toughness and durability of cowhide. It has a slight pebble grain plus, it’s water-resistant.
I use Ritza Tiger thread which is a polyester thread with high strength and durability. It has excellent sunlight (UV) resistance. I glue all seams for added strength.
The Badalassi leather is treated with Golden Mink Oil which will protect and soften leather while replenishing the oils that dry out after repeated wetting and drying. Golden Mink Oil is used for waterproofing, preserving and conditioning.
All of my bags are completely 100% handmade by me. All stitching is hand sewn without use of a sewing machine.

☆Sierra Deertan is a very soft and supple leather. It can get dirty easily like suede. It can be treated to protect the leather but will darken the leather. It can also be cleaned with a leather cleaner which will darken the leather☆
